Children's Sunday School for ages 3 - 12 begins at 9:00am in the Children's Wing. Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers.
We have ongoing Sunday School for younger adults: The Harmony Class, which meets from 9:15am to 10:00am prior to Sunday Service at 10:15am. The Harmony Class will be hosting a special video series starting January 10th focusing on each of the major world religions.
The Wesley Beacon class, favored by our seniors, meets from 9:00am to 10:00am. This class features several gifted lecturers discussing a wide range of topics. Come join us!
At Lakewood UMC we believe in helping the poor and homeless in our community. If you would like to join us in a short mission project or long term program to help our local community, please call the church office at 214-823-9623 and ask about upcoming mission programs.

At our 10:15am service we'll sing several seasonal hymms where everyone can sing along, and the Chancel Choir will also perform a few favorites and a few lesser known songs to help us focus our hearts and minds on the meaning of Christmas.
At 3:00pm John Gill, Organist will host a recital with special organ music as well as some solos and duets with friends including Alan Noel, Baritone and Carol St. George, Soprano, and Meagan Landis, Flute. This is a casual family event with cookies and wassel following the 45 minute program.
